i purchased this product last fall and it carried a mail in rebate of $50. And I had send in my reabte forms well before the due date. I was tracking the rebate through Amazon rebate center. At one point Digital media said that they wont pay the rebate for 'NO REASON' That was really discouraging. But Amazon credited back $50 I really appreciate Amazons Customer service.
But this manufacturer is not trust worthy in terms of rebate.

The compact flash card works, but X Digital Media, inc is a shady company not willing to fulfill any rebates and stone walls its clients. Check google to see all the complaints.

DO NOT BUY THIS CARD! As other posters here have suggested, do a quick google on it, and you'll see that X-Digital does not honour rebates. (They still haven't for me either, 5 months & dozens of calls/emails later.)

The card itself seems OK - it's just X-Digital's (lack of) business practices that should stop you from buying this.

I bought this card about 8 months ago. The company refused the rebate and Amazon had to cover the $50. I discovered that the card has a bad spot, but now there is nothing I can do about it because the company apparently does not stand behind their product and wishes to remain more anonymous than anything. Not a bargain compared to similar cards like Kingston Elite.

Card works great .... but don't expect your rebate.

They simply refused to fulfill it, after weeks of promising. Know they simply don't answer the phone or return phone/email messages.

The LA Better Business Bureau (www.labbb.com) gives them a rating of "F"

I was also denied the rebate on this product from X-digital. They first claimed I sent it in too late but I am positive I sent it in on the last day possible. (this short time-frame is ridiculous anyways)
I then called the rebate processing company to complain. They told me they NO longer represent this company and gave me a direct number to X-digital. I called 3 times and left a messages each time. They never even bothered to call me back ! I emailed amazon and explained the situation and hope they can do something. If not I will dispute the charge on my credit card.
People, BOYCOT X-DIGITAL !

X-Digital does not offer any rebates? What are you talking about? Great card though! I buy them all the time and can't beat the price and quality!

I too bought the X Digital Media 1 GB REDLINE PROformance 70X Compact Flash Card because of the $50 rebate touted by Amazon.com. I too was told that my rebate was not received in time even though I sent it immediately after receiving the product and even paid extra to receive the card in 2 days so that I could meet the terms and conditions of the rebate. Stay away from manufacturers rebates unless the company you are purchasing from will stand by the rebate. They offered the rebate as an incentive for purchase and should insure that the rebates are paid.

Great performance on this 1GB card I bought -lightening fast. I got the card in a few days and what a great price!

This is a great card - I will definitely buy again.
