No one person could author an in-depth authoritative book covering the multifaceted fields of digital marketing - there is too much for one person to know. This book combines the specialized knowledge of 12 experts in diverse fields of digital marketing resulting in uniformly excellent chapters on all the covered subjects. This book is a gold mine of information for novice digital marketers. And as I said, no one can possibly have depth of expertise in all the covered subjects so even digital marketing pros will find new insights in fields outside their specialty.

If you're just getting into digital marketing then this is a must read. The book is broken down into chapters that focus on bits of dealing with the web. This book gives you a very clear look at piece of digital marketing. It's not a "this is all you need to know" book, but it definitely gives you a general view of what you need to do to get your feet wet. Or better yet if you're not a person who is going to do the digital marketing but you need to understand a bit about it before finding someone to do it for you.

Regardless this is a definite must read!

This book is an excellent review of what your digital marketing system should be. Probably not all apply to your business (ideally all apply) but serves to check if what you are doing are doing well.
As a member of WSI, I'm proud of the effort made by my colleagues in the preparation of this book. Highly recommended.

Full disclosure, I had the honor of being chosen as one of the contributing authors for one of the chapters in this book. However, I have ready it entirely from cover-to-cover and strongly believe this is an excellent book for a business that is interested in gaining a better understanding of what's involved with "digital marketing". It's not a deep-dive, how-to book, so if that's what you are looking for you will be disappointed. It is a great "upper-management" level explanation of the key elements that make up an overall digital marketing strategy. It's a great way to learn about what the various elements that make up a digital strategy and starts with the importance of producing great content, getting found online with search marketing, how to leverage social media and the mobile device and concludes with ways to measure your efforts.
