I would give this book a zero if I could because it doesn't provide the information it claims it provides. I was looking forward to reading this book; however when I received it, it was like de ja vu. It was like reading everything I had already read in every other book, I aleady owned, on general AND even my manual that came with my DSLR camera. Needless to say I was very disapointed. BUT, I gave it a chance, I thought that just maybe, the information in the book might be geared toward taking black and white pictures. No such luck. The book was scattered with very nice black and white photopraphs, but the information in the book was not gear towards taking black and white photographs. I would not suggest purchasing this book if you are looking for a book to help you take black and white photographs. I should have stuck with one of the books I already have. It is "Black and White Digital Photography Photo Workshop" by Chris Bucher. No, I do not know him and I am not a plant who is endorsing his book. The book just provides the information that it says it is going to provide. I didn't feel taken. I am going to return the other book this weekend. Hope this review helps.
