I've always admired Simon's work. His photos in this book are amazing.
However, I did not feel that this book helped me improve my vacation photos one bit. I think more time could be spent on how to compose specific types of scenes like water, mountains, people shots would have been helpful. Other aspects like "how to tell a story" or "how to shoot photos in preparation for a great slideshow" would have been helpful. So I really didn't get any help out of this book. At best I'd say study Simon's work and learn from it, but forget this book.
