When I first purchased the book I thought I was going to learn about taking pictures instead to my pleasant surprise, I have learned a wealth of information about preserving my past in photos. Laura thoroughly walks us through storage, retreival, reviews of printing your photos and recovery of what we thought was lost forever.

I learned a lot about storage and backup of my photos. I had wondered for some time what if this or that happened to my computer or the on line source I use, now I have a back up plan.

Great book! We needed this.

For anyone who wants to know more about the digital photography world, this book is a must get.

Easy to understand, well written,true facts, and perfect reccomendations.

If you can't make it through the inch thick manual that comes with every point and shoot camera, the author explains it all in real people language.

The layout makes "workflow"an easy to understand concept.

And for the everyday user of digital photography, Laura Oles hits on all of the practical uses and information you may need.

I can't say enough about this book, except buy it.
