I found this book to be an overpriced disappointment. There is very little in the way of actual information. Much of the type is set in all caps crammed together in a way that is sure to give the reader a headache. Images are almost all very tiny and tough to make out. The text is repetitive and uninformative. Save your money and surf the web to look at examples of graphic designers web sites to get inspiration for creating your own.

I got some great ideas from this book, but nothing really new. Great for newbees but not for advanced web developers.

This book is so hard to read and the pictures are even hard to look at. Who wants to read text that is all caps? Not me. I recommend this book to amateurs (like myself) who want to see a great example of how irritating this is to readers. Check it out from a library and make sure you return it on time, because it's not even worth accruing late fines on it.

I bought this book to help me pull together a digital portfolio for myself. The book helped me a lot. It gets you started, gives you dos and do nots and has many good ideas on what will make your portfolio stand out.
