This wide angle isn't exactly 0.5 wide as it claims. Maybe just a little bit wider than the original but with the fisheye effect on the image, it seems pretty wide although looking at the image without it and with it, the covered area is almost the same... only the one with the lens on has too much barrel distortion that it looks like a fisheye lens but covering not really too much area from side to side. It's the same area covered without it. And the CA is really bothersome. The center of the image is kinda sharp though but really softens a great deal towards the edges. For fisheye effect maybe... but not really as a wide angle lens.
