I have an old Panasonic camcorder from 1996. It's old. I mean...the SD card it uses to take freeze frames is 8 MEGABYTES. Come on. That's ridiculous.

Anyway. So I like this camera and needed to use it for a project where it was mounted in the corner of a room as just an overview cam. The problem was, the frame multiplier on this camera is ridiculous, so it looks like I'm only looking at a quarter of the entire room. Didn't want to pay the money to get a new camcorder because quality was not the issue. Found this for $20 and thought I'd try it. When I first pulled it out of the box it was in a nice leather carrying case with a lens cap on one side and a back cover on the other. Very well put together and presented for the price.

I was expecting something sort of lo-tech and cheap plastic just to get me by. This thing really is a good deal. It's pretty sturdy construction and feels solid. It didn't fit at first but it came with the 43mm attachment ring and to my surprise this fit my 1996 Panasonic PERFECTLY. It's made my filming so much easier because I can now see the entire room!

GREAT idea. Don't spent money on a fancy new lens or a fancy new camcorder without checking these out first!
