About the Author

Full-time faculty member of the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and teaches in the Medical Radiography Diploma Program as well as in Bachelor of Technology Degree Program in Medical Imaging. Graduated with the highest honors in Medical Radiography from the Ottawa General Hospital School of Radiography in 1970. Worked as a radiologic technologist in both routine and special procedures radiography. In 1975, he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree from Carleton University in Ottawa. Has published over 25 papers in professional radiologic technology journals and has 14 textbooks published to date, on CT, Computers in Radiology, Radiographic Instrumentation, and Radiation Protection.
