The Digital Research Internal IDE 56x CD-ROM drive supports high-speed data extraction necessary to copy audio CD data to your hard drive or CD recorder. The drive is also compliant with the MPC-3 standard necessary to run today's high-performance multimedia and graphics-intensive game software.
The standard ATAPI IDE interface connects to the same port as your hard drive for simple Plug and Play installation, and the drive fits standard 5.25-inch drive bays. Front-panel audio controls allow you to play your audio CDs without waiting for software to load.
