My husband bought this safe for our family about a month ago and we purchased it so that we could keep credit cards, jewelry, important paperwork, etc. in it. We had some friends over and they brought there teenage son with them. Later that night after our friends had left we noticed that our safe had been broken into and there was jewelry missing. Obviously, we put two and two together and realized that our friend's son had broken into our safe. We confronted our friends and after they talked to their son they said that he confessed. They went onto to say that he had seen our safe and went onto YouTube and found a video that tells you different ways to brake into this particular type of safe. We later went onto YouTube and found that video and it demonstrated 4 different ways to brake into this safe. The most simplest one is to simply bang on the top of safe while at the same time twisting the handle and it comes open. We tried it on our safe and as expected it worked on one of the first tries. You do have to try it a few times, but after that it will come open easily. I would not recommend buying this safe if you are planning on keeping extremely important items in it. It is a waste of your money!

I received this safe in substitution for a smaller one I initially wanted, but I am very satisfied with it. It is extremely easy to program the passcode straight out of the box (with very simple directions). The alarm is set easily with the touch of one button and beeps to let you know it is securely locked. The inside is very spacious, more than I can use! Very good product.

I ordered this product without reading all of the comments. Well I wish I had. After receiving this item after 5 days, I was satisfied with the product but was kind of hesitant on the way the handle felt. After the door locks, the handle and door felt very loose. So I decided to read some more comments. Then u came across the one where the person tells you that you can hit the top of the box as your turning the knob and it will open. Sure enough, I did that and it opened instantly. I am very upset with this product and it should be banned from being sold on amazon. The reason is, is that it says you can put guns in this safe. The problem is having kids that can easily get into the safe and have access to the gun. I would not even try it out. Stay away from this item.

I had to do some research on this item before I bought it. The pictures depict a larger item but it actually is roughly just big enough for an 8x11 piece of paper FOLDED. I love the product, do not get me wrong, but be sure to do your research before you buy it. Great job with shipping and was packaged very well. Thanks for the great product and help!

This is my second safe deposit of the same kind. I just love it. The new pin # is easy to reset. It's large enough to keep my important documents, jewelry, passport and some cash. Shipping was quick.

Well built. Good key code syetem, and hidden emergency key entry panel. It is battery operated but thats what rechargable batteries are for and again, if batteries die, you remove the panel to hidden key space and open it that way. Solid. Good build. It can be carried away, but find a solid hiding spot for it. It also comes with pieces so that you may bolt it down if you like. I reccomend it.

It fits the space perfectly and is easy to operate and the failsafe key is a good idea especially for my wife whom I bought a second unit for her jewelry.

The safe seems sturdy enough. The problem we have is that the batteries on the inside come lose very easily. Then you can't open it with the combination. Therefore you have to insure to keep your keys close by and don't lose them. Then of course you have to reset the combination. Other than that it is ok.

Just got this and it is perfect for what I need but the beeps are much louder than I would like. Very easy to use though.

Please advise as to correct specs. "Product Specifications" states: Length = 9 inches, Width = 9 inches, and Height = 13 inches. "Technical Details" states: Overall Dimensions are 12" W x 8" H x 8" D. "Product Details" states: Product Dimensions are 9 x 9 x 13. Which is correct?
