This scale is very slim and compact- so easy to pull out and use, super light, and I like that I can store it in a drawer.

This easy-to-use and accurate scale is a great addition to my kitchen. The stainless steel looks really smart, is easy to clean, and the whole thing feels solidly built. It is a perfect size to leave out on the counter for convenience.

As a Crossfit athlete who follows the Zone diet, I use this digital food scale every day for measuring all of my meals. I measure my food in grams (the scale also does oz.) and have found it to be super accurate. Another plus from my previous scale is that the batteries in the Pronto last forever and the display is much easier to read.

To weigh my food, I just use the "tare" to make it even easier. I start with my plate on the scale and hit the tare button. It subtracts the weight of the plate and makes the scale read zero. Then I measure out one of my portions. Hit the tare button and again it starts at zero once more for the next food item.

This scale may be designed for accurate food portions but we use it for other areas outside the kitchen.
With the cost of postage continually rising we use this handy portable scale for accurate measurement of letter and package weights to insure correct postage. That way we don't overpay for excess postage and don't have mail returned for insuffecient postage and having to repay for the entire amount.
The scale is also small and light enough to fit in my laptop case so that I can use it when traveling.
The only problem I found was that the scale could get lost in the clutter we have in our kitchen but putting a bathroom scale in there would take up too much room and not be accurate.
The shipping was fast and prompt communications with the seller.

this product does the job. I like the screen which is bright enough and makes me happy to look at. However, the buttons is of very poor quality. sometimes you need to push it a couple of times to make it work.

The unit is smaller than I expected, but works OK when you know its limitations. My primary accurate weighing task was a warm block of wood, and scale readings varied continuously, never settling to one value. None were believable. I finally figured out this scale has NO temperature compensation in the circuitry, and the strain guage is probably epoxied directly under the weighing surface, and thus readings can vary continuously if the object being weighed is either warmer or colder than the temperature of the scale. To get around this limitation, I simply placed a small room temperature drinking glass on the scale, tared it out, and then the warm object I wanted to measure was insulated from the scale, and the scale reading was steady.
Dispite the fact that the asian engineers COULD have added inexpensive temperature compensation to the electronic circuit and DID NOT, I still could have given this scale a 4 star rating, , , IF they would have CLEARLY written in proper english warnings about thermal sensitivity, and explained the simple ways to insulate objects from the scale.
I would recommed this scale WITH reservations, , , use a small glass or ceramic cup or glass to thermally isolate your item to be weighed, because you can zero out the weight of the insulator on the scale first. This is NOT a laboratory accurate scale, but can be very useful in adding small amounts of ingredients to a container on the scale.

My diet requires me to weigh food. I took this little scale with me in my purse (weighs next to nothing) and slipped it under my bread plate in a nice restaurant and was able to weigh my food without a lot of attention drawn to it. It's silver (not sure why the picture is so bronze looking).

First off, the scale would stay completely level on my counter. It kind of teetered a little bit from corner to corner. The scale would stay at 0 so it didn't bother me that much.

It worked pretty decently for me. It would give me a measurement of the same item to the gram but would be off by one gram if I placed it on there again.

But then the last time I used it, the numbers would keep changing yet the item on it was complete still. Kinda freaked me out lol. I figured the battery is probably going out.. I'll have to change the battery soon and see if that's why.

And the worst thing about this scale, it's so hard to read the measurement. I have to look at it from a certain angle to actually see the reading. I don't think I'll be getting another scale or anything with a blue backlit screen.

This is a pretty straightforward digital scale, but I find the digital LED display a bit bright and almost hard to read. Otherwise it seems pretty good and easy to use. A digital scale is a must for any baking, etc.
