The fastest way to grasp Telecommunication basics!, March 3, 1998
This review is from: Digital Signal Processing In Telecommunications (Paperback)
I am a VLSI designer working mostly on telecom ICs (voice codecs etc.). I found this book very focussed and extremely readable for those with some basic DSP background. I think it is ideal for all those engineers out there who are well versed in DSP and VLSI but not in telecoms.

Formula typo errors makes the first edition unreadable., March 19, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: Digital Signal Processing In Telecommunications (Paperback)
A good text but wait for the next edition before purchasing.
The text contains numerous typographical errors in it's
formulas. Bounds of intergration, and summation are
missing, as well as, numerical values. Equations without
boounds in DSP theory is useless
