5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Resource, January 28, 2009

This review is from: Digital SLR Handbook (Paperback)
I am an amateur photographer; my last SLR used film, and it broke about 10 years ago. Having now purchased a new DSLR (Sony a300), I needed my hand held as I re-learned the basics of photography. This book gives a wonderful overview of both photography principles and the digital world. It is up to date, easy to read, has great visual examples, and is an overall great resource. Highly recommended!

The book is very well written and explains very easily how Digital SLR works. It is also small (half A4 page size) and is easy to carry around for reference while shooting.

This book came recommended as a good basic learning tool for beginners. My interest is in astrophotography and being new to this "hobby" I needed something that was concise and understandable. This book hit the mark. The photos added beautiful examples.
