We ordered several of the 12", 15" and 17" frames to use as a photo display wall. In each size we had to get replacements from Amazon, which went well except we had to get replacements for the replacements since they to were also defective. The defects ran from damaged frames to no picture. All in all not a satisfactory product for quality.
Picture quality was very important and these units did a very poor job with high quality photos on memory cards. What were great shots on a laptop or other computer were not displayed at all well. Contacted the manufacturer asking what color density or what we could change to get good results and were told that they did not have any information of that type. The photos were taken with Nikon D90 and Fuji S3 and then reduced to the screen format of the frames. No matter what we did we could not get results that looked anywhere near professional.
All in all ordered 9 frames and after on going issues for 4 weeks ended up returning all.

Pros: displays pictures -- blurry ones.
Cons: Manual nearly useless. "Instruction" manual is little more than a Function List, written in Chinglish. I spent several hours experimenting to figure out how to operate this gadget.
If you hang the frame itself in portrait orientation (there are hanger holes for that), everything, including menus and pictures, displays sideways. I cannot find a menu setting to fix this. I reluctantly accept that the frame must be hung in Landscape orientation.
Warranty is "not valid" without the serial number. I cannot find a serial number anywhere on the product, nor on the box, nor in any documentation.
Frame threads on 3 screws holding unit to frame were stripped, screws hanging loose. I replaced with larger screws.
I found that 5 out of 6 brands of USB thumb drives wouldn't go in the USB port -- shoulder of drives bumps against power plug.
Display dpi size and resolution (like 1024x768, 72 dpi) are not given in the manual. This is basic information if you want to pre-size your photos for maximum sharpness.
On the edge of the mat cutout, where it defines the display, the company has glued on a perfectly garish metallic border that looks like something a 4-year-old would design. I painted it black.
I tried sizing photos in Photoshop to see if I could overcome the blurriness of the display. I assumed the blur came from re-sizing by the frame electronics. No size and no dpi I tried will produce a really sharp picture. (1024x768, 86 dpi, seems to work best, but it's blurry, too.)

It's always hard to know what to expect when ordering on line. I was not disappointed with this product. The display is very good. I use it on a display table and the size is good for what I need it for. There are lots of smaller digital picture frames on the market. This is by far the best value I've seen at this point. It doesn't have much on-board memory (512 MB) but SD cards are cheep so that's not really an issue.

The only thing I didn't like is it has no security slot (like on a laptop). I need to leave the display unattended at times in public areas and I don't feel comfortable not having it cabled to something as a theft deterrent. It would be nice to have that feature.

I bought two of this, one for my own home, another one for my parent's. My parents one failed It just shows half the companies logo and then goes into a black screen. I thought my parents had ruined it since they're not tech saavy. Not a week went by when mine quited also, this one goes into a windows ce screen. Called support they told me to buy another one! what kind of support is that? I'll never buy from them again. Watch out for this one, looks very good, great resolution, it will even work for a while but when the rubber hits the road you'll find yourself with a pice of junk and with a hole on your wallet.

Have had this unit for 2 years and it has always performed . NO PROBLEMS whatsoever. You can use a variety of memory sources and add music to accompany your slide show. Very easy to set up. Screen size large enough to see from across the room. Image quality great.
