I typically do standard vinyl die-cut decals, but a friend asked me to do his soccer team's jerseys. I was interested in getting into vinyl transfers anyway, but was pretty put off by the price of some of the clamshell presses on the market. After doing a week's worth of research, I hesitantly settled on this press.

I've used presses in the past, and I can absolutely say this is an outstanding press for the money. I haven't once regretted purchasing it; it maintains the appropriate temperature consistently and is a no-frills, get-the-job-done press. If you're looking to get into vinyl transfers, I would definitely recommend this press.

i am very satisfied with my heat press purchase, it works very well. the only problem was that when it came in, alot of the paint was already chipping off. a paper came with the press that said if you have any problems e-mail the comapny asap. so i did, with a picture of the chipping paint and sot no reponse. i havent tried anything after that, but it doesnt affect the performance of the press. but if im spending the money, it should be to standards i think.

I ordered this product as a way to reduce the clothing expenses for my business. It heats evenly and works as advertised. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is that it took some trial and error to find the temperature and time settings that worked the best. Overall this product is worth the money, but be prepared to waste some materials til you figure out the best settings.

This product, and anyone selling it is a complete scam. I received the heat press which is nothing more than a very expensive thermometer, as that is the only thing that works on the unit. The construction is of poor quality, which would be tolerable if the unit actually functioned, but it does not.

This "heat press" doesn't actually heat up. Perhaps it is a defective unit. I tried to check out the website of the manufacturer for technical support. There are practically no identifying markers on the unit other than a sticker that says "power heat press [....]". Well, navigating over to that site, I'm confronted with two malware warnings from Google (powerheatpress redirects to scalediscounters.com which also triggeres a malware warning) only to land on a "suspended account" page from Blue Host. So, I guess technical support is out of the question on this product.

I'm a software engineer and have a fair amount of experience in electronics troubleshooting. There's not much to go wrong with something that's effectively a large iron. I carefully read the instructions (even though they were obviously machine translated and barely intelligible) and physically inspected as much as possible without taking anything apart, and all seems well enough. It simply doesn't work.

I am returning this post haste and have learned my lesson about buying something that is 60-70% below market average price for such a product. I hope I can prevent others from making this same mistake.

This is a great machine, works PERFECT, delivery time just AWESOME, defenetly a GO if you are planning to buy it!!!

I am new to the world of t-shirt transfers, however, I find this t-shirt press very easy to use.

My only complaint and the reason for 4 stars is that the instructions that accompany the t-shirt press are terrible. If I had not already worked on a friend's with her, I would be clueless. Also, the troubleshooting tips provided under B. Anderson's review helped me as well.

I have seen complaints of chipping paint and the machine not working at all. I had neither of those problems.

We bought this heat press for our DTG t shirt printing http://www.theprintbar.com and have found that it has been an outstanding heat press. The temperature is still 99.9% accurate all around the plate a year on.

So far, so good!! The machine worked great for rinestone transfers. Heats up fast, and does what we want. Great investment!

If your wondering "Will this work for me, since price is so low"...the answer is YES IT WILL..this unit is very efficient & if I do not have any problems with defects of any sort in near future..I will purchase another just like it within next 6mos!! ALL OF MY ITEMS HAVE TURNED OUT LOOKING WONDERFUL(ALTHOUGH CANVAS IS NOT TRANSFERRING PROPERLY, I DON'T BELIEVE IT'S THE MACHINE FAULT)..I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANY, NEWBIES & NOVICE ALIKE..YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SPEND $600+ TO HAVE GOOD HEAT PRESS!! MY PURCHASE PRICE FOR THIS UNIT WAS 194.00 +$55 ON SHIPPING..MY PURCHASE WAS LESS THAN $300.
