I can't believe that educators would publish a book on this topic in 2012 that omits Khan Academy from index - a collection of essays from academics who maybe need to read wall street journal's professors are about to get an online education http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424127887324659404578504761168566272.html

This book was a gift to my son-in-law who knows the authors (all Harvard men). Therefore I, personally, cannot rate the book.

Are readers of this book not learners themselves? Then why is a book about "Digital Teaching Platforms", not available in an e-reader format? I would find this book useful in that format. I am loath to purchase a print version that will simply sit on my shelf and collect dust.
