This camcorder was for my mom's birthday. I searched for an amazing deal and I regret finding this one. When we received it the manual came with some ridiculous errors such as "BaRarey Instruction" instead of battery. These mistakes made it hard to follow.

We charged the camcorder for about two hours and then turned it on, everything worked, but it again it wasn't easy to follow and understand. Switching from camera to camcorder was confusing. I turned it off and then when I went to turn it back on right after it wouldn't come on.

I never found out if it needed more charging, which is ridiculous because it was only on for five minutes if that, or if it just couldn't hold the charge which is more likely.

Don't buy or you'll end up returning it like us!

I would not recommend any "GSI" product!! This has been a very bad purchase for us. This camera really did not work and it was purchased just prior to leaving on vacation. We have tried to find a way to contact the company, but amazon has not been able to provide us with ANY way to get in touch with the company about this product. I have talked with several customer service reps at amazon and they are completely clueless on how anyone can reach this company. They have taken me in circles and wasted my time. If anyone else out there has any information about who this is and how to make contact with them, I would appreciate you posting it. Amazon has been completely useless. I have been so amazed at the time I have spent on this TERRIBLE purchase. "DO NOT BUY GSI!!!"
