As a professional photographer I found this book to be very unique in that it is geared to all levels of photography from the weekend wedding photographer to the professional photographer looking for some new ideas. This book covers camera gear and lighting techniques. Rick Sammon has worked with some of the top wedding photographers of today to give you some creative ideas, which you can use as a wedding digital photographer. The book has two unique sections of adjustments and enhancements, to enhance your creative ideas. In addition there are step by step instructions of Adobe Photoshop techniques. The goal of a photographer should be to create a style which allows you to be uniquely creative and admired. This book can help you achieve that perspective.

Do's and Dont's and tips that read like a novel or magazine article for everyone to understand. Confirmations and reminders for those who already know or had an idea, yet a novice can quickly learn a whole lot of tricks that are sure to make many a nice photograph. There is a picture to illustrate every idea laid out in such a way that you just can't forget it. If you're new to wedding photography definitely get it. If you are not new it can boost your confidence, and you'll learn many more technics to add. if you are old to wedding photography, it's nice to remember and go back to the basics and secrets. I am not new to wedding photography yet I can not wait to finish reading the whole book. There is nothing like going to shoot a gig with the confidence that you know exactly what you are doing to get the best image you and camera can possibly make. In one of the chapters, Pros Share Their Secrets, Rick Sammon shares a favorite expression of his, that the sign of a true professional is that a difficult job looks easy. My feeling is that once you have the secrets in this book mastered, your job will be easy.
