A lot of people have been whining about this product, but I was thoroughly pleased with it. I bought another model for my wife for Christmas and had to return it. It flickered and had horrible color saturation and the pictures were pixely. This frame is the exact look I was hoping for originally. It has a sharp picture with vibrant color - and the color and contrast is adjustable. The frame is quality and attractive and it had no problem reading my card - even though it wasn't supported. I have an xD camera card, but I bought an adaptor that it fits into and then can be inserted into a larger card slot.

The product itself is great quality, superb for the price. The only thing I wish I could change is the fact that there is no remote. You have to start/stop the slideshow manually with the buttons at the back, as well as advance to the next picture or rotate the image displayed. Also - there is no "back" to return to the picture that was just viewed.

I've found that most of these machines don't position the pictures automatically or store their position in memory once they've been rotated, so don't expect that and select pictures for your card that will work with the horizontal or vertical position of the frame, since you can choose either one. I recommend it overall.

I have had this product for only a week. So far I like it a lot: very good picture quality. Much better deal than the one I saw at Brookstone and bigger screen as well. I do like this product quite a bit. Hope this will help.

This is a classic case of how NOT to market a product. While the frame itself looks nice, the installation was a terrible experience. Following the directions was easy, after installing the driver, the frame would not recognize my SD card. (SD cards are shown on the box as one of the acceptable storage media). The enclosed booklet and box do not include any contact information whatsoever . . . no technical support. Hence, I'm sitting on a $200 item with no way to determine what went wrong with the installation. To say I'm upset is an understatement. The documentation with this product is pathetic and inexcusable. Shame on DWELL.

The good: Easy-to-use firmware and companion application; solid design; USB connectivity; bright display.

The bad: No wireless connectivity; expensive. Make sure your memory card is compatible.

The bottom line: This is an easy way to improve on the tried-and-true array of framed pictures that are de rigueur in every office.

I looked around something new to buy this year for the Xmas gift for my mom. Compared this Digital Well over many other "too digital look" frames, we decided to buy this classic wood frame, the display quality is supurb. Create slide shows, too! Just plug and play. It's great!

I ordered the USB 8 inch Digital Photo Frame, it arrived very quickly along with instructions. Being an older grandmother and not part of the cyber generation I tried and tried to get it to work. With no luck and little hair left I went on line to the companys web sight and got there phone number for Tech support.

I have to say in all honesty they tried long and hard to help me, we made many calls back and forth still no luck getting a photo onto the frame.

I am so pleased with the customer service I can't tell you. In the end they shipped me an upgraded model, which is also sold on Amazon, at no charge and took the first one back. The new model is a dream. I just plugged it in and copied and pasted the photos to the image in my C drive and presto there was the working photo frame.

So even though I found the first to hard for me It was the companys stand for customer service that I respect. They really stood behind the product.

Cannot load pictures and there is absolution no phone numbers no help on this product. Shame on Amazon for promoting this type of business. Anytime you spend over $200 you should be able to get a help line to walk you thru. If I can get it to work I'll respond again!!

We bought this for my father for Xmas. We were able to load the pictures, but the computer often froze or crashed when it was connected. The picture quality stinks and rather than display them in the correct proportional size, the pictures are squished vertically and everyone looks like they lost 20 pounds. Not a great investment, unfortunately.

I also am using an SD card. Followed the directions exactly. It does not appear that the frame is actually capable of writing images to the SD card through the USB interface. I cannnot find a website or other contact for the manufacturers, which is seems a bit fishy. I am also extremely unsatisfied, but am going to go buy a compact flash card to see if I have any better luck.
