When it has came down to the success of Punch Out for the Nintendo Wii, there haven't been many great accessories that complement the game for the hard core boxer. These boxing gloves for the Nintendo Wii are easy to connect to through your Wii-mote & nunchuck controller, and handle very well when your going head to head against the boxers in the hit Wii title. But that is not all, the gloves handle well on other boxing games for the Wii including Facebreaker, and Ready 2 Rumble Revolution. My only gripe is that after a few uses, your fingers easily get a bit sore, so that sadly is the only problem is not to be too aggressive with the games. Otherwise, it works well. I do hope Nintendo can make something like this themselves that can feel more comfortable.

Wearing these gloves makes you feel like you're in the ring and sure does help get you into the game more. 20 minutes of boxing with these puppies on and I was dripping like a soaked towel. I love the way you can place the nunchuck and the wii remote so easily that you don't even feel they're there.

I don't use these gloves for punchout but I think they work great for golds gym. I read the review for other gloves and decided that I would try these since they have such a great review. They work fine with golds gym and I am very happy to have them. I would recommend to anyone who needs boxing gloves to try these because they work great and you don't have to pay as much. I also like them because I can feel every punch.

I was super-duper excited about these gloves, and they are great for PunchOut! I played more PunchOut in the couple of weeks after I got the gloves than I have since we got the game. I liked the feel of the gloves, they fit fairly well (I have big hands, small fingers, and skinny wrists), and I felt like I could really swing at the screen without fear of having to hold the Wiimote exactly correctly.

The only downsides in PunchOut are that you will not be able to use all the Advanced button controls with the gloves, and I am not coordinated enough to do a Star Punch with my right hand while the gloves are on (requires the left hand to hold down the correct button on the Wiimote in the glove on the right hand).

For other two games we have the right-hand glove does not work well. On Wii Sports - Boxing I have to turn the remote sideways in the glove in order to box properly - otherwise my glove goes in crazy directions on the screen. This makes the buttons inaccessible. In the Wii Fit Plus - Rhythm Boxing, the boxing hand does not respond to punches very well. I have to take the remote out of the glove in order to register punches correctly.

Otherwise, the glove work great! I love to use them, and the kids love to watch me use them (our kids are not quite old enough to use the gloves themselves)!

 

I got the boxing gloves but they are not the same ones in the picture. Instead of the back of the glove being open for the remote to fit into and still be usable, it is a pocket that is all black and padded. The wiimote is not accessible when placed into the gloves. Therefore, it makes it impossible to start a new game, pause, or use the wiimote at all unless it's taken out of the gloves. These gloves are almost useless to me.

 

I really enjoyed playing the game with the gloves instead of just the remote. It made the interaction with the game better.

My 9 year old son loves using these gloves for the punchout game. It makes the game more fun.

Bought these for my Gold's Gym game. They fit great and not only can you put the nunchuck in the palm for easy access for punchout but you can opt to put it inside the back of the glove like the wiimote for those that dont need access to it. I had bought a pair elsewhere that looked similar and I was worried these would be like those which hadnt fit me and had issues picking up the signal. I was nicely surprised that these were much better. No signal issues and I got a choice as to where i want my nunchuck. Very happy with my by :)

I got these gloves for Punch Out and they make the game more fun. They make it feel like you are really going three rounds with King Hippo, without getting punched in the face. I have small hands and I was worried that they would be too big but the gloves fit pretty well and I can still access all of the controls on the nunchuck. I have also tried the gloves with Golds Gym Cardio boxing and they don't seem to work as well for some reason.

 

I use these gloves for both Punch Out and Gold's. They add fun to the games and not having to worry about holding onto the remotes is a plus. The gloves are well made but unfortunately, aren't made for an adult with small hands. I've had to modify them with extra Velcro to get the gloves to give a tighter fit so they wouldn't fall off. It was an easy adjustment but if you're an adult with small hands or a child, you should be aware that this product is one-size fits most adults and not one-size fits all as advertised. Because of this, I've deducted one star.
