King Widget has vanished, and once again Digory must give up his simple life of writing poetry and playing his lute to set off on a quest to find the beloved King. As usual, Digory's journey is not without hazard, and Digory must find his courage in order to save the day. My 8 year old loved it,

My son is in 3rd grade and loved this two book series. They are a quick read, in which he could finish this book in about two nights. It has many illustrations to keep a child interested. I haven't read it so I can't give my opinion but I atleast wanted others to know, that my child loved it. I keep looking for new authors for him and this is one I will keep an eye out for new books in his age group.
