Ten years ago, I worked in a wonderful little gift shop in Juneau, Alaska where we carried these. I'm estatic to finally have found them! The strawberry crystals covering the truffles set miniature explosions in your mouth, while the chocolate slowly liquifies you into a state of almost mindless bliss. If I smoked, I'd need a cigarette after these.
Definitely NOT to be eaten when you're hungry! These should be savored and kept far away from the children, who couldn't understand the difference between a chocolate kiss and a real delicacy. Incredible stuff!

Master chocolatier and pastry chef, Dana Taylor Davenport, founded Dilettante Chocolate Company of Seattle, Washington, as a vehicle to express his love of creating fine chocolates. These champagne truffles are truly culinary works of art. Made with real Marc de Champagne, they have a sinfully delightful taste that is sure to please the most discerning palate.

These are delicious chocolates that I have only recently discovered, but I must say that it is definitely love at first taste! If you like fine chocolates, then you really must try these truffles. I can't recommend them enough!
