Book Description

Follow the adventures of Dillon Smith as he tracks down and apprehends outlaws in the old west. This short stories series is similar to the 30-minute TV western from the early 1960's, such as "The Rifleman" and "Wanted: Dead or Alive".

This book includes the four episodes previously sold separately.

In the first episode, we find Dillon Smith is in Temple, Texas, waiting for the last stage to Waco. While he waits, he meets Lola, the tall, attractive owner of Blacky's Saloon and Hotel. He then helps Sheriff Carson track down and apprehend the Billings Gang who robbed the stage, leaving him $2,000 richer.

In the second episode, Dillon Smith hunts down Mad Dog O'Brian, the man who killed Lola's husband and has been robbing banks and killing people all across the state. After finding him in Las Cruces, New Mexico, a shootout ends Mad Dog's killing spree.

In the third episode, Dillon rides all the way to Denver to find the Arapaho Gang. He joins up with the local U.S. Marshal and together they track them to Red Rocks. In this episode we meet Soapy Smith, a con man and self-proclaimed boss of Denver's underworld crime empire. He's into small and large scams including fake stock exchanges and lottery offices, running his empire from the Tivoli Saloon and Gambling Hall. Dillon also reveals that his cousin is Matt Dillon, Deputy U.S. Marshal in Dodge City, Kansas.

In the final episode, Dillon arrives back home in Waco to discover that a 5-member gang of con artists have been preying on the local town folk. The MacDonald Clan are five brothers, Scottish immigrants, who have been moving through Texas, hitting every town, big and small. Dillon stops their criminal activity outside Waco.

This had to be one of worst book that I have ever read. Not only was the 1st paragraph missing but so was the rest of the story as far as I see. Wish it was better read.

The first page with description of book the type was fine. The first page of book I could not read! The type was to far to the right and cut off all the words on the right side.
Redid all my setting and font sizes. Deleted book and reloaded it. Still the same problem.
Spent more time trying to solve the problem then I would have reading it.
Don't waste your money or time
