I'm really tall and was breaking my back trying to help my kid ride without training wheels. Every time I would let go he'd freak out and we just weren't getting anywhere.

I got this on a Friday, installed it, used it on Saturday and by Sunday he was riding without me holding on.

A week later and I've passed it on to a neighbor to use.

THey can't tell when you let go which was key for us getting anywhere.

This is great! It is actually multi-purposeful. I first used it to train my 6 year old son to ride without training wheels than put it on my 2 year old daughter's bike to help push her up hills as she peddled as she is not a strong biker yet. I can push her like a stroller when she is tired of peddling. I had purchased a different bike handle first that was for getting rid of training wheels and you could NOT use it with training wheels on. I love this seat mounted system because you can use it with or without the training wheels on.

I have used this to train my daughter cycling and this was the best thing. I was having such a hard time training my 5 year old daughter cycling as the cycle was small and was very difficult on my back as i had to bend a lot to hold on to her. Getting this made a world of difference.

This thing works like a champ. My boys kept tipping over with the traing wheel every time they got on a slope. This teaches balance and helps you to know when they have their balance down. Works great.
