3.0 out of 5 stars A collection of bits and pieces May 30, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
These two authors have pooled their stories to create this collection. Like the proverbial box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. Some of the stories are deeply British in their flavor, some American. Some are tiny little storyboards, and a few actually develop a plot. The characters are never deep because there isn't the time to develop them -- the story is the player on stage, not the actors.

My complaint is that several of these stories are trivial, almost Ferdinand Feghoot (search on Feghoot if you're curious) in nature, the Roswell one for example. One of them, dealing with a cryochamber, was very similar to one I wrote ages ago. Yes, ages. I think it's good for writers to get these stories out of their system, just like every writer has to have someone go back in time and kill their grandfather, just to be done with it (and no, that isn't one of these stories). I hope they keep on writing, and I hope they critique each other's work, as they will only get better with time.
