Dimensions makes the best paint by number kits in my opinion. The paints are usually arranged in small pots in a flexible circular fashion so you don't have to cut the paint pots apart like some PBN kits. I am always pleased with the outcome once framed and they seem to be appreciated as gifts. The colors sometimes need to be stirred a bit but usually are just right in texture and coverage except for some of the lighter colors. Those might need two coats but the printed copy of the pattern keeps you on track should you make a mistake. I mix the colors on my divided palette or sometimes just use a disposable foam plate. It is easy to mix the colors and I am always pleased with the outcome. Other manufacturers of PBN kits just don't measure up.

This is an extremely detailed, beautiful picture that captures the essence of an owl. I would make one suggestion to Dimensions..print the numbers in a dimmer fashion. It's hard to cover up the numbers with the lighter colors. It's sometimes necessary to go over the numbers several times after the first coat dries to finally eliminate them. Otherwise, these Dimensions paintings are the best.

great item, arrived just in time for a christmas gift and they loved it, it came with paint and brush.

I love this thing. It takes fairly quick to paint the whole picture, and the result comes out amazing. I would advise to be a bit stingy with the gray paint, or you WILL run out of it. It is a bit hard to color in the letters with light paint, so I had to apply layers after layers.
I am rating it 5 starts only because the result of the finished painting is great, and not because it was a pain to paint.

The product itself was OK. Nothing special about it really. The problem I had was that it arrived in a crushed box, thereby making the box for the item also crushed. I reported that, could not access the "problem with shipping" link on the website or find out how to ship it back without cost to me. The merchant sent another one although I emailed and told them not to as I could not return the original. Then I got emails telling me if I didn't return the damaged original they would charge me for the replacement. The post office was wanting to charge me to return the item so this didn't work out very well for me. :(
