we've spent a lot of time researching and testing lighting in our Yarn store, and these are working out great! Daylight spectrum, bright, they run cool, and low energy cost. As we're adding lights to the shop, we're seeing such a change in the overall brightness. It's also allowing us all to see the true colors of the fibers in the shop. Recommended

I do not have a huge issue with these bulbs but when they say spot lights they REALLY mean it. I got 8 of these to replace all the burnt out lights in my sons closet. These spot so much that they hardly lit out the room and just left 4 foot spots under each light. I have lots of ecoBrites Hi-Brites 7x1w Hi-Performance LED light (replacing 60w incandescent/halogen bulbs). Warm White (2800k) Light Output in 120 Degree Wide Angle "Flood" Beam Spread with Diffuser. Standard PAR30 / R30. Designed for Recessed Downlights, Spotlights,... and I would have to recommend the ecoBrites over these. On a positive note they do not hum at all while dimmed and they work well for accent lighting on walls, I had to move them out of the closet as they did not do the job.

Bought 4, 2 of them died in 60 days of installation. Return policy is only 30 days on this item.

I'm using 5 of these Par30, dimmable LED bulbs in a track light to illuminate pictures on a wall for the past couple months and they are working reliably and uniformly with no radio interference. I use a Lutron DVCL dimmer and it works perfectly. On the DVCL dimmer you can set the minimum dimming point, so you can get the full range of dimming with the dimmer slide without struggling to find a low dimming point without the lamp going out completely. The bulb also looks high-tech gorgeous.

I'm not sure what the fault percentage is for this item, but I am one of the few who had it stop working after less than 2 months of use. The item, when working, is fantastic and produces a great spot light which I used for my desk lamp.

The last time I installed a photography gallery the lights were 50 watts each and required a special heavy duty dimmer control to dim 50 bulbs. With that installation when the lights were dimmed they turned very yellow, ( 2300 k). The bulbs also turned yellow with age and aged at different rates. The results after a few months was an unsightly array of slightly different colored yellowing lights.

My new " WithInSight Photography Gallery" uses 50 of these bulbs. The bulbs have no UV or ultra violet rays which will cause colors to fade over time. The bulbs do not overheat, the color is Daylight, (5000 k ) and do not change color as they dim or age. They only use 7 watts per bulb. 7 watts X 50 bulbs = 350 watts.The dimmer is standard "off the shelf" and costs about $20.00 US The old way was, 50 watts X 50 bulbs = 2500 watts. The old bulbs had a life of about 50 hours each, these bulbs have a life of about 10,000 hours each.

Because of the "heat sink" of these bulbs the look of these lights is very futuristic.
I think I'm going to die a happy man. ;-)

Lights working fine, no problems. Sold more photos from this show than any other. The daylight color ( 5000 k ) makes the photographs "sparkle" .
Unfortunately when I ordered 20 more bulbs a few weeks ago to expand the gallery the bulbs appearance dose not match.
Not a good thing with a Gallery. I'm looking for a new supplier.

These are DANGEROUS. Almost started a fire. One unit popped and started sizzling and smoking at the socket the instant the light switch was turned on. The others appear okay. However, I'm not chancing my family's safety with these pieces of garbage. To be sure it was the LED bulb, I reinstalled a regular light bulb and it worked fine. So the LED bulb is definitely bad. Do NOT buy this brand!!!
