Pricey but worth it,

This light is extremely bright. I instilled it in my garage to replace another bulb. They claim it should replace a 75 watt bulb. I think it could replace a 300 watt halogen bulb. I have a 1 car garage and this bulb lights every square inch of the garage very well. The light is very bright but not harsh. It disperses very nicely for a flood light. I highly recommend the Daylight white version of this bulb. It is much brighter that the soft white version and uses the same power and cost the same.

I like much of my indoor lights to be daylight (i.e. 5000K color temperature) and had not found a good one until this bulb. Most CFL's are slow to start or have a lot of visiable flicker. This one has neither of those problems and like all LED lights it is energy efficient and instant on.The big negative is the price. If it were not for that I'd give it 5 stars. |
