tHIS IS ONE OF THE BEST COOKING TOOLS I HAVE PURCHASED. I HAVE A JENN AIR COOKTOP IN MY KITCHEN THAT HAS A GRILL. IT IS THE MOST INEFFICIENT PIECE OF GARBAGE THAT I WAS FOOLED INTO PURCHASING. I AM STUCK WITH IT BECAUSE IT IS BUILT INTO THE CABINET AND THE GRANITE COUNTER TOP. I LOVE TO BARBECUE AND I WAS LOOKING FOR A GRILL THAT WARMED UP FAST AND WAS EASY TO CLEAN. FINALLY I FOUND THIS ON AMAZON AND I LOVE IT. I MADE LAMB CHOPS AND BEEF KABABS ON IT. THEY COOKED TO THE PERFECTION THAT I WANTED. CLEANING IT WAS VERY EASY. IF YOU ARE A BARBECUE FAN, YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH THIS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

AMAZON.COM TOOK TOO LONG TO SHIP AND BEWARE OF THEIR OFFERS. AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NO HELP.

I'm very please with the Dimplex electric grill. The quality is everything it clamed. High heat for searing steaks, etc. I've had other brands of electric grills, this is my favorite.

I just got my Dimplex a week ago and have used it twice. Great fun and cooks just like a gas barbeque and gets nice and hot. The bbq is very sleek looking on my condo balcony and doesn't take up too much space yet the grilling surface is very large. I had 6 large bone-in chicken breasts on it. It doesn't take long to preheat. About 8-10 minutes. It feels solid and well made and the grease tray slides out very easily. As suggested I lined the grease tray with foil. I'd highly recommend getting the Dimplex scraper which is specifically designed and shaped to clean the strainless grill. This is also sold on Amazon.

This grill looks really sharp, the design is good, and would be super easy to clean.....BUT......
It is HUGE, and after heating it up on high for 30 minutes, I put a small fillet steak on it, it did leave sear marks but took almost 30 more minutes to cook, was barely warm inside and I threw it out as it tasted more steamed than anything else and I was afraid it wouldn't be safe to eat.

I returned it and bought an electric Weber Q 140 locally at ACE hardware for less money and it cooks almost as good as the Gas Weber Q I used to have when I had a home instead of apartment. Plus it is smaller but plenty of room to cook for 8 people and a snap to clean.

I am .. No.. I and everyone who has seen it in action is completely impressed with this thing. It takes up very little room .. I have mine on a table. But you can use the entire grill surface to cook with. Have had several bbqs and successful grill marks making franks burgers and even pizza on it!! The tray underneath slides out, line it will silverfoil And just replace when it's dirty. I bought a five dollar wire brush to clean the grill part takes no time and always wipe a Little olive oil on the grill before cooking to prevent stick. My neighbors were so impressed that they bought the same one. Plug it in when you want to use it and it's hot in no time. Love love love not a single complaint.

I was always reluctant to purchase a gas grill because of the assembly, complexity and propane tank. This electric grill is the answer to my prayers. So far I have cooked steaks, and it does an excellent job. The grill is very portable, easy to use and cleanup is a snap. I am delighted with my purchase and highly recommend it.

Though lots of research to select it, did not last more than a dozen times then it started getting cooler and cooler with each use. Beware.

This grill is really better than others. I've tried several others (from department stores) and find that the searing and grilling is much, much more like charcoal or gas. I can't use either in my condo and find that my steaks and vegetables are "almost" like grilling outdoors. This had the highest heat level of any others I've tried.
