Aaron has lost one of his toy dinosaurs. Where could that iguanodon be?

Aaron's mom promised to find it, and Aaron falls asleep. Only to be awakened by a loud thumping in the closet. What could it be? Why, it's his iguanodon, of course but grown to full dinosaur size!

A full-size iguanodon is only the beginning. Soon Aaron is meeting the rest of his toy dinosaurs all grown huge but still friendly and fun. FANTASTIC!!!! I haven't read a book like this in a long time. Hi, I am a single mom of 3 (9, 6 and 3)and one of the most important lessons in life I thrive on teaching my kids is that reading is fun. I want them to grow up and want to read. Want to learn and explore and love life along with loving to learn in life. When I first got this book for them, my first thought was that is was probably going to only interest my 3 year old, but when I brought it home my oldest son seen the cover and grabbed it from my hands and actually thought it looked "cool"!! Well of course when the oldest one screams out "cool" the other kids want to be a part of that. So there we are standing in the enrty way to my house, they're all checking out the book chit chatting amongst them selves, and then to my surprise my 9 year old offers to read it to his younger brother and sister. Their faces lit up and they ran to the couch and they all sat down one kid on each side of the oldest... and he begins to read the book. It was perfect. It caught all of their attention. It had them full of curiousity as they learned the names of real dinosures. It taught them about friendship, and how to overcome fear. It wasn't to long nor was it to short. They couldn't wait to flip each page as they finished reading the privious one. Also the illistration through out the entire book kept them tuned in. The bright colors and the awesome story line keeps them involved involved in the story as well as the words. Each and every page left them wanting this book to go on forever. We've had this book a little over a month now and they still love to read it at least once a day. As a mother it makes me feel like it's a great learning book along with it just being a really GREAt story to read!! This is definitley one of my favorites!!!!!

"Din-o-mite in Aaron's Closet" is a book of imagination and adventure I would proudly give any child, but you will have to get it out of my hands first!

Aaron's night of wonder and adventure reveals that what could be scary or different is not fearful but friendly, new and full of discovery.

The reader is invited into Aaron's dream through vibrant, detailed and masterful art with a clear and well-crafted story to match. All ages will appreciate the way his story creates for them a universe of possibilities.

This appears to be an independent production...a welcome change from oftentimes cookie-cutter children's books - animated productions perhaps moreso - where banality passes for creativity.

The bonus of a poster adds value to this hard-bound quality book that you will want for gift-giving for any occasion or "just because." Be sure to get a few extra copies for yourself!

"Din-o-mite in Aaron's Closet" is a boy's story of dreams about his favorite dinosaur, an iguanodon named Din-o-mite. One night Aaron goes to sleep disappointed because he can't find his favorite toy dinosaur. He dreams a marvelous dream that his iguanodon, Din-o-mite is in his closet, and when he releases him he finds five other wonderful dinosaur friends! Aaron sings a song and sails off for adventures with his dinosaurs in a magical Viking ship, but says a happy goodbye when his mother calls him to wake up to another day. "Din-o-mite in Aaron's Closet" closes with a beautiful fold-out poster of all of Aaron's friends, Stegosaurus (Steg-o), Pterodactyl (Doc), Triceratops (Tops), Brachiosaurus (Soar-o), and Tyrannosaurus rex (T-rex).
