Sandy has a very unique sound...,
By Krystal Cruz (Dallas, TX USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Ding Dang (Audio CD)
Ever since i heard my first Sandy song i was instantly captivated. His unique hip-hop persian style had just the right combination of authentic traditional Iranian instruments mixed with a new more contemporary sound.although, i do not speak farsi, my former boyfriend introduced me to this artist. we would drive around north dallas and listen to his whole track. Also, Sandy's slow songs will and do melt your heart. Although he records many fast up-beat songs, when he does record more mellow slow ones they are so very beautiful...they touch the very depth of your soul. his slow songs are the best ever! i highly recommend anyone who is a fan of persian music to listen to this artist...Sandy will inspire you.

sandy has a very unique style, the singer shahram azar is a smart guy and he knows what he's doing in this industry. the song pari got many complaints but i think it is a good way of telling about the free-bees and prostitutes (jendeha) of iran

Very Culturalistic Persian Music,
By "kenzonihon" (Virginia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Ding Dang (Audio CD)
I first heard this CD in the summer of 1996, when they were not well known. But their music and choice of lyrics/content is fascinating and fun to listen to. The song "Pari" hits the truth about iranian promiscuity among girls. But not all of their music is the same. Americans who are not familiar with Persian music will not understand the depth of this CD.

Awesome!,

I think this CD is awesome! I first heard it at a club that was playing Persian music one night. I also take belly dancing and it is fun to dance to. My favorite song is #3 Ahvazi. It is the bomb!

Meaningless, Empty and a Waste of Money,

This Cd and all their Cds are so void of any artistic and musical value and depth that even 2 stars is giving them too much credit. Guys, go back to your day jobs!
