Dingo bone with peanut butter

The Story Behind the Bone

In the 1990's, the Dingo brand started with a man named Les and his dog, Dingo. Like most dogs, Dingo had an instinctual need to chew, and to his owner's dismay, Dingo enjoyed gnawing on furniture and destroying shoes. In hopes of fixing Dingo's behavioral problems, Les attempted replacing shoes with rawhide bones. Unfortunately, Dingo was not a fan of these traditional rawhide chews. Rather than giving up hope, Les searched for an alternate solution. Coincidentally, Les's wife worked for a jerky company, and Dingo loved the jerky treats. Due to Dingo's adoration of the jerky, Les began soaking the traditional rawhide bones in water and filling them with jerky, leaving some jerky around the edges for Dingo to see. And with that, the Dingo bone was born. Finally, Dingo had a treat that he loved, while still being able to fulfill his chewing needs. Now your dog can enjoy the original Dingo chew in the form of mini bones.

The Healthy Treat Dogs Love

The traditional rawhide bone is a durable, edible bone that serves as a common treat for dogs. With the Dingo Mini Packs, dogs reap the dental benefits of teeth cleansing and gum conditioning, while also enjoying the meaty flavor that the Dingo bone ensures. Because all Dingo bones are hand tied with real meat in the middle, they provide the highest quality treat for your dog. This treat is both easily digestible and soft enough not to damage dogs' teeth, making it a safe and healthy bone that your dog will love.

One of a Kind

In 1997, the Dingo brand was granted a patent for the single most logical improvement on the rawhide dog chew in thirty years. Due to its meat in the middle quality, the Dingo bone is the only product of its kind on the market. This allows dogs to experience a unique treat that's innovation and uniqueness separates it from traditional rawhide bones. Although competitors have attempted to mimic the Dingo bone, no other product combines rawhide with real meat in the middle to create a longer-lasting treat that encourages your dog to chew through the entire bone.

My dog is addicted to these treats! He is a 90 lb Doberman who loves food, any food, anytime. But for some reason, he loves these more than anything else I've ever given him, more than peanut butter, cheese, anything. I just wish they came in a bigger size because each mini bone is TINY and is gone within 30-40 minutes (he really takes his time and carries it around for a while, so another dog might wolf it down much faster). He hasn't had any issues with the small size in terms of choking but he is 8 years old and eats them very slowly so this might be an issue with other big dogs who eat things quickly. I just wish I could find the same thing in a much larger size.

I buy at least 4 packs a week, so I wish they cost less! I even tried stuffing real p-nut butter in other bones, but my 2 bichons could tell the difference. Like the first reviewer, my dogs are crazy about these little bones. It's no use trying to give them something else. Only these will do. Once they suck all the p-nut butter off, they want a new bone. So, they are limited to one per day. Great little product.

Our 3 dogs love Dingo bones. But these peanut butter flavor bones are an obsession of our smallest rat terrier. He's only 5 pounds, so bones tend to last several sittings for him. Give him one of these and he's occupied for as long as it takes to finish. He'll still play with other bones, but he loses his mind when he sees me go for this bag. I just wish they were priced as well as the other Dingo products and less difficult to find.

I usually get the regular dingo bones but decided to switch it up and try these. My dog loves them she starts off with the peanut butter side and then hides the bone, and then continues playing and chewing on it. Definitely buying these again!

My dog(chihuaha mix) absolutelty loves these. He waits to get one every morning. It's the only thing he'll sit still for, as he's only 9 months old & very energetic.

My Pom has always enjoyed Dingo chicken wrapped bones, but I was hesitant to change her treat to the peanut butter ones. She's pretty good about eating but will often leave the chewy parts behind. I offered this new peanut butter indulgence and she went crazy just smelling it. She jumped up, tried to take it from my hand, could barely contain herself long enough to sit on command for her treat. Once she received it, she turned around and immediately started devouring the end with the peanut butter. Nothing distracted her, not even her favorite buddy coming to visit. She ignored him in favor of the peanut butter. I'm very pleased with Dingo's products and have never had a bad one yet.

I do not recommend these!! Luckily I monitored my 10lb shinese dog while chewing on this or she wouldn't be here! It got lodged in her throat and almost killed her! So scary. Think twice before buying this product or any rawhide!! She is a lucky dog! Do your research on risks please!
