5.0 out of 5 stars So comfortable and versatile!
I LOVE these boots! I wear them everywhere; horsebackriding, out and about, with a cute dress... you can literally wear them with anything. I own them in black and am buying them in brown asap!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good boot but not perfect
Well, I like this boot, but the insole is HORRIBLE! There is a small piece of black insole over the heel that after a short time slips away, and moves down the shoe. It is a big pain! Also the whole insole seems to be very cheap, and doesn't seem to hold. I had to buy a new insole in order to use the boot without hassles. You could try to glue the insole, but I...

5.0 out of 5 stars Darn Good Boots For The Price, December 2, 2008
By
This review is from: Dingo Men's Harness Boot (Apparel)
These Dingo Harness Boots are a great buy for the price. I've owned several pairs of Dingos and while they may not be as top quality (or expensive) as Frye, they get the job done. I've had my current pair for over two years and wear them nearly all the time yet they have held up well. They break-in easily, look good, and are very confortable to wear any time. The only complaint I've had with mine is that the factory insoles seemed to wear out fairly quickly and had to be replaced, but this was fairly minor. Overall, a great pair of decent boots.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dingo Men's Harness Boot, March 13, 2009

I had forgotten why I liked Dingo Harness boots so much. I probably haven't wore a pair since college or at least since I sold my motorcycle, and now I regret that. These are very comfortable boots, much more so than most military, cowboy, or work boots. The quality of the workmanship and materials are first class, and they have the proper height arch and heel. Shop around and you will see this is a great price as well, and twice the price for Frye is not worth the slight difference in quality and comfort. I have paid far more for less quality and comfort. Sometimes I have had problems wearing boots very long because they cause my back to hurt, but this is not the case with these Dingo boots. I highly recommend you get a pair if you need or like boots. Excellent for use if you are a motorcycle rider. Another plus is they are great for using with several costumes such as SciFi, Western, or Pirate.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dingo Boots, January 11, 2009

Love the boots. Ordering was quick and easy and they came earlier than predicted. I was a little disapointed to find out they were made in China but got over that after wearing them. I would recomend placing a stain and water protector on them, particularly if you live in the north as I do with all the salt and sand I have to navigate. I wear them to work daily and they are comfortable and look great.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good boot but not perfect, October 16, 2010

Well, I like this boot, but the insole is HORRIBLE! There is a small piece of black insole over the heel that after a short time slips away, and moves down the shoe. It is a big pain! Also the whole insole seems to be very cheap, and doesn't seem to hold. I had to buy a new insole in order to use the boot without hassles. You could try to glue the insole, but I tried, and still had problems, so it is best to just buy a new insole. Other then that I recommend buying a size a bit larger then what you wear for dress shoes. For example if you wear a size 12 in dress shoes you should get a size 13 for the boot. I made the mistake of getting a boot the same size as my dress shoe, and it does fit a bit tight. Also I would recommend that you also take a look at Chippewa boots. They are more expensive, but they are made in the U.S.A, and have a great reputation. Dingo boots are a good value, but for a little more you can get a better boot.

4.0 out of 5 stars Dingo Harness Boot, Mahogany, July 4, 2009
This review is from: Dingo Men's Harness Boot (Apparel)
Good quality materials, but I dropped one star for manufacturing quality. There is a small leather insert which covers the heel portion on the inside of the boot. After a few days wear, both came off and I will have to re-glue them.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good, August 16, 2011

Boots are uncomfortable until broken into. After being broke in they are very comfortable although the sole inserts need to be replaced right away, they're just not very good. After about a year of regular day-to-day use (no heavy duty use in the outdoors) I had to replace the soles. The rest of the boot is still in excellent condition though.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent feel and fit, January 24, 2011

This review is from: Dingo Men's Harness Boot (Apparel)
I have been wearing harness boots for over 30 years. I have had Durango, Chippewa and Double H. in recent years I have had trouble finding a pair of Harness boots that fit right. I thought I was getting too old for the style. I ordered the Dingo boots not knowing who made them and that they were probably not American made. I got my delivery and found that Dingo is a subsidiary of Dan Post. Excellent. The boots are made in China.

I put these boots on and instantly they felt like the quality of boots made in the 1970s. the fit perfectly and feel soft on the foot. time will tell but first impressions are very comforting. I am sending back the Chippewas I ordered along with these because the feel like crap and ordering a back up pair of Dingo's!

2 years ago I bought a pair of Made in America Double H boots. wore them for 6 months on and off. one day I put them on and the upper literally separated from the bottom. I contacted double H and they were like so what..........The on line store that I bought them from actually took them back when the manufacturer would not

BUY THESE BOOTS if you want quality and comfort

4.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable and Inexpensive Boots, December 29, 2010
By
This review is from: Dingo Men's Harness Boot (Apparel)
I had a pair of Dingo boots growing up in the 70s and loved them then. I was happy to see Dingo was still around making fine boots. I am a 10.5 but ordered a size 10 (per other reviews and following the size chart). They are very comfortable and just look really great (I ordered the Mahogany). I was considering buying Frye boots (which I may eventually do), but for theses were less expensive. I am still breaking them in but they feel very good.

3.0 out of 5 stars Dingo from Amazon, September 10, 2010

These boots are rough on the inside and "eat my socks". They look good but I wish I had returned them rather than walking around in them. The sock issue is a real problem but I'm creative and I'll figure something out. If nothing else, it taught me how important the lining is.
