5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product, Bad Seller May 19, 2009
This product is available on many many sites for ~80, this is most likely just a drop shipper who is just charging up the price, much like the other dingoo on amazon. It is a great product, but I would say go elsewhere.

Pros:
=====
-Near perfect out of the box NES emulation
-Near perfect out of the box GBA emulation (from what little I saw)
-SNES emulation is pretty good if you turn off automatic frameskip and set your own and/or disable sound (frameskip is under Misc in the options- I like "1" for most games)
-Solid feel for relatively cheap hardware
-Plays music, pictures and videos (including older/low quality FLVs from youtube)
-Bonus TV out, voice recorder, FM radio
-Comes with headphones and charger
-Internal memory large enough to hold a lot of games (4 gigs)
-Many options including button configuration, state saving and customized rapid fire

Cons:
=====
-Not all emulation is smooth (Donky Kong Country always ran either too fast or too slow, Super Mario World always felt a little off and sound can be funky)
-This is only $100 (or $80 if you shop around)- the hardware is very good for the price but not great
-All audio is software controlled- there are no volume buttons
-D-pad and buttons are very small (about the same as the GBA micro)
-Very little documentation with the box
-File browsing via USB link and rom uploading is easy, but my screen freezes and I have to use a paperclip to restart it after disconnects

2.0 out of 5 stars A "so-so" emulator December 29, 2011
I got this portable emulator so I can play old video games on the go. A portable video game emulator sounded awesome on paper, but my expectations were rather short lived. In my perspective this was marketed as a portable emulator, more than just a multimedia player, and as for the criteria of emulators, it's about so-so to me. One gripe I have with this is that the emulation software is rather pathetic, it can do 8-bit games just fine, but when it comes to anything that's 16-bit, it lags a lot. Another issue I have with this is that the RCA cable that came with the system doesn't work. I plugged it into my TV; all I got was the sound, no picture. And the last issues I have are rather minor, but the D-pad is not sensitive like every other D-pad I experienced, I have to hard press it for it to respond in game, and also the L and R buttons are not like the GameBoy Micro's (Or any other L and R button ever made). Personally, if you want a portable video game emulator, there might be other great contenders that treat the games you throw at it much better in terms of performance, but for this one in particular, I'll let it go with an overall score of a 2 stars, mostly because of the emulation flaws for the more advanced games.
