I bought this set because I have stayed at many of the lodges in the past couple of years. I have always liked the food when I have had the chance to eat in the lodges. This book is wonderful. I have tried almost all of the recipes and they have really been enjoyed by my family. The only things I haven't made are the ones where I couldn't get the ingredients or similar ingredients. I don't live by the coast so I had to switch some of the fish and they still came out good. The desserts were good. In fact we liked everything I was able to make. This is the first time I have ever cooked all the recipes in a cookbook. I thought the CD could have been a little better.

I thoroughly enjoyed the recipes and the descriptions of the lodges made me want to visit each and every one. The photography is superb. The CD is okay, and makes for some pleasant dinner music, but I ended up giving it to my mother who likes it more than I do.

I was searching for a different National Park cookbook when I came across this book. It was VERY affordable so I added it to my order. It is a nice cookbook read. The recipes are interesting. If I never use any of the recipes it is a beautiful book with a CD of music inspired by the lodges..
