Product Applications The AM413ZT (polarized) model is designed to reduce the effects of glare and to help eliminate "hot spots" from highly reflective surfaces and providing uniform illumination to bring out more surface detail with minimal glare. The Dino-Lite Polarizing system can be switched on/off or can be adjusted to offer full or half polarization, providing the versatility required for use in the Dermatology - Skin or Scalp check, for diagnosis, cosmetic, follow up, hair loss treatment, etc. As well biomedical, printing/graphic arts, surface analysis and a variety of other fields. The 1.3 mega pixel resolution AM413ZT also comes with the calibrated measurement feature and all of the other standard features found in the Dino-Lite line of digital microscopes including the "DinoCapture" software which enables you to "capture" either a photograph, video or time-lapsed video with a simple click!

I bought this microscope to inspect PCB assemblies. The zoom and resolution are excellent even for fine pitch components (0402 and smaller). The polarizer is the best feature because it compensates the bright and allows a more sharper image. I totally recommend this product.
