How many references to Harley's can you find on this bottle? I found 5 The manufacturer describes this as "an aggressive, crimson-red, tomato-based sauce riddled with spices you can see, smell and taste," and I'd agree.
This sauce was easily the best of a recent batch of three random varieties I just got in. The consistency was thin yet stable and clung to the meat well. There was just enough heat (provided by cayenne peppers) to really add life to really tasty set of wings. This one really is unique in that it provides the three major BBQ flavors: sweet, spicy, and sour (tangy). If you are looking for something that tastes slightly different, has no preservatives, and supports really loud forms of transportation - this one is for you!
Smell: Nice with a very natural scent.
Taste: Sweet, sour, and a dab of spicy. Unique, yet not overpowering.
Consistency: One tiny nit is that it pours a little thin, but you can really see the spices as they flow out of the bottle and into intermediate basting container... and it clings well to ________ (insert favorite meat here).
Packaging: Fun "Harley-marketing", but cheap plastic bottle. Guess it's good if you're like me with a kid or kids running around grabbing everything they can!
I bought this sauce along with their and some other bbq books for my hubby as a gift. I have to say I am very pleasantly surprised. This sauce has a sweet/sour taste to it with a faint hint of spicy aftertaste. More importantly, it tastes like it is fresh and homemade (you can actually see small chunks of the natural ingredients). We just had it again tonight with a prepared roast chicken from the market and I felt compelled to write a review. It was also very tasty with vegetables.
One of the other reviewers mentioned it tasted better because it did not contain corn syrup and I think that is a big part of it. (Tomatoes, vinegar, and sugar are the first three ingredients). The ingredients don't contain any chemicals other than Xantham Gum that I can see and only 6 grams of sugar/25 calories per serving. The bottle says "Always Natural/Gluten Free/ No Artificial Ingredients/ No Preservatives". There are other bbq sauces out there on the market, and probably some that are less expensive and more accessible at my local market. However, I really do like this sauce and would order it online again. I think the freshness in taste makes it stand out from the rest. We have cooking demonstrations at our local market where they are always selling the newest gourmet sauce such as Veracruz, chimichurri, or raspberry chipolte. This reminds me of a sauce that they might feature. It is that good!

This is one of the best barbecue sauces on the market. It is not as thick as many of the other sauces but that is because it does not contain high fructose corn syrup. Dinosaur sauce is sweetened with brown sugar, honey, and molasses.

I FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS SEVERAL YEARS AGO WHILE TOURING THRU SYRACUSE NY. WENT TO THIS BAR CAUSE IT WAS CLOSE TO THE HOTEL.I HAD THE BEST BBQ I EVER ATE ,BAR NONE AND IVE BEEN EVERYWHERE TOURING WITH DIFFERENT BANDS. THIS STUFF IS FANTASTIC. IM ORDERING A CASE. THIS IS GREAT,TRY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is wonderful barbeque sauce! its tasty and you dont have to use alot and it gives whatever you are bbq'ing a wonderful flavor! and the bottle when empty will become a collector item to be used for flowers- both real and imitation! its cute and appealing!

A friend first told me about this sauce since I'm not originally from upstate New York it's all natural and quite frankly the best bbq sauce I've had in a long time it's simple but very flavorful Everything you need in a great sauce
