4.0 out of 5 stars Scary Fun
My son is nearly six and has finished all the Magic Tree House books, and is hungry for more. Thank goodness, a new series is born. It uses the same conceit --

My son is nearly six and has finished all the Magic Tree House books, and is hungry for more. Thank goodness, a new series is born. It uses the same conceit --
two kids are transported into an amazing and different world where they encounter danger and learn incredible things. Original idea? Not really. But at five, do you really care if an idea is unique? It's loaded with danger, action and scientific facts. Naturally, there's a happy and safe ending.

My son devoured this book in a little over an hour and asked for the next one in the series right away. Hurry up, Scholastic. Must we really wait until August for Number 3? It's a long summer...

4.0 out of 5 stars Strange, Humorous, and Funny!, December 22, 2009
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Dinosaur Cove #2: Charge of the Triceratops (Paperback)
Isn't it strange to have little huts in the distance? Isn't it humorous to ride a triceratops? Could it be funny to be chased by termites pouring out of a hill? Read and find out. I did. I'm seven years old.

Another great book in the Dinosaur Cove series. My 7 year old son loves to listen to these chapter books. They are about 60 pages long, so we read them at bedtime over several nights. He loves the stories.

My Daughter LOVES these books. She is a huge Dinosaur nut along with Mummies. She has read the whole series at least 3 times each. She got these at 7 and at 9 they don't leave her side much. Bring on more!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars nice book, December 2, 2010
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Dinosaur Cove #2: Charge of the Triceratops (Paperback)
This is a great book. Too bad it has to be so short. After i read the first book i wanted the next book. I got it about a week later. The two boys end up riding a Triceratops and getting bites from giant termites. Then the boys go over a waterfall. I will not tell you anything else. I highly recommend this item.

4.0 out of 5 stars Triceratops is Tops!, August 18, 2010
This review is from: Dinosaur Cove #2: Charge of the Triceratops (Paperback)
This is another impressive adventure book in the Dinosaur Cove series.

It is loaded with fun facts, risks, and it has interesting characters.

Can you imagine getting attacked by huge cockroaches? What would it be like to have giant bug bites?

I am ten years old and going into fifth grade. I would recommend this series to boys and girls my age. It is not too long or too short and there are about 6 chapters.

Read to find out what happens when Tom and Jamie meet the Triceratops. Go on an exciting expedition when you read this book!
