My siblings and I wore this tape out we watched it so much. I am longing to find it in DVD format so that I can share it with my kids. The claymation is terrific the story is funny.

This video was playing at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle in the dinosaurs exhibit, and my 5-year-old always went straight for it when we were there. So I thought it would be fun to have at home. We dusted off the VCR, and watched this half-hour video. Unfortunately, only half of it is the claymation we were looking forward to; the first half is a silly skit with Fred Savage (at age 10 or so) and some hilarious 80s band (regular) animation. The excellent Will Vinton claymation movie about dinosaurs is only about 15 minutes long at the end of the video, but worth waiting for. It includes a lot of educational material about dinosaurs, so it's not a complete mind numbing experience.
