Garibaldi was a project of mine for my job as a NPS Ranger at the Statue of Liberty. I borrowed this titled book through the local library system which borrowed the book from some other library in the county. Then Irene hit. Although I don't know how, the first couple of pages in the borrowed book I noticed were wet. I bought this book from Amazon and it was just a couple of dollars and the quality of the book was better than the "borrowed" one. I took both back to the library and had no problems returning/replacing the loaned book.Oh, yes, the book(s) helped a lot in my research. Great period pictures too. So, book was great and maybe the reason I bought it not the best. |
