I take Benadryl to sleep, as it is a nonaddicting sleep aid.

I stumbled onto this large supply on Amazon. I am one who would buy all medications in a year's supply if I could. I was suspect of them for the price and quantity, but they work just like Benadryl.

I can't see any difference between this product and the "real thing" which costs much, much more. I've been using them for some time now, and no complaints.

Generic drugs are roughly the same across the board. Diphenhydramine is simple enough of a molecule that generic synthesis of it is predictably consistent. That said... the picture representing this produt is misleading. Pictured is Qualitest brand generic diphenhydramine. What I received is completely different: Pharbest brand generic diphenhydramine. I bought this item thinking I was buying Qualitest's version, with Qualitest being a very reputable company. I've never even heard of Pharbest. Not cool, seller. At least post a disclaimer that product may differ in brand than that pictured. Or, take a picture of the actual product and don't use a google image search to find a picture of "1,000# diphenhydramine". I'll avoid this seller (American Wholesale) in the future because of this deception.

A very good price for 1000 Diphenhydramine pills. Generic drugs work exactly the same as their name brand counterparts, and I can attest that this fact holds true with these. My bottle says that the pills are made in USA and apparently in Greenwich CT. Note that these are double the strength of most other brands of Diphenhydramine, so the dose for most adults is only one pill instead of two.

As someone who suffered from excessive sneezing I've tried a lot of the other OTC remedies with no luck. It's when I decided to give diphenhydramine a try that I don't have to worry about huge protracted bouts of sneezing in which I wind up rubbing my nose raw from all the tissues.

While $4 for 100 25mg caps is quite a deal from the local WallyWorld this 1000-count container of 50mg caps will save me some money. I figure that's about a year and a half of diphenhydramine for my needs.

The only downside is that diphenhydramine knocks me right out. So it's not a surprise that this is also used as a sleep aid. So to counteract the drowsiness I simply take it at night. I wake up okay and don't have to worry about sneezing my head off.

Compared to the other remedies this is far less expensive and it's great to not have to worry about my allergies.

I'm 52 years old and have had bouts of insomnia with and without allergies for a LOT of years. I've had many, many prescription and over-the-counter meds to try to help me out with these problems. But this medication (Benadryl or this generic diphenhydramine, either one) is the best for both drying up my allergy symptoms and helping me drift off to sleep, for a good night's sleep. I've used it in quantity for years and have never worried about side effects, although I'm careful about how much I take since I have other health problems. I recommend it if you have similar problems.

This bottle is a great buy, but it isn't mentioned in the product description that the bottle that this medication comes in is not child proof so if you order this product and you have children in your home, you will definitely want to put this in a safer bottle. Just something to consider before buying.

I just started working graveyard so it was difficult for me to align my sleep pattern with my work shift. Before I ordered Diphenhydramine, I was getting about 2-3hours sleep tops, which made it hard for me to stay awake during my shift. I'd have to take energy drinks and/or alert tabs just to keep from falling asleep...which I'm sure had a lot to do with why I was so amped when I got home and had a fairly large contribution to screwing up my sleep pattern. Nevertheless, I am proud to say that I have finally been able to get a full night(or morning) of sleep. This stuff really does the trick. I feel so well rested. I can work an entire shift without energy shots or alert tabs.
