The Polish Ambassador weaves a mighty mix of retro-synth beats. There's an underlying surge of phat bass heavy breaks that always keeps things on track. The creative use of so many simple sine and sawtooth wave sound machines comes out in the musical and rythmic complexity of the elements and not in the complexity of a bunch of preset tones. The 80's arcade sound has invaded the mainstream.

This cd lives wherever I'm listening to music! i can't get the beats out of my head, they must live there forever, playing in the background of all of my thoughts to keep me happy throughout my entire day!
Seriously, everyone needs their own personal copy of this album stored safely away in their memory or cd case, or in their ipod.
I love you Polish Ambassador!! Keep making love to yourself doing what you're doing and spitting out those great beats that are as infectious as mono.

its hard to explain, but it brings out all these inner emotions in myself especially when i go walk around the city with me headphones on and its night time. i just feel like staring at the stars without ever looking away. im not very good with synth lingo, but i have to say its way different than anything i have ever heard. i recommend this for people who love to experiment new music that doesnt require any lyrics. it speaks for itself. i saw one of the ambassador's songs on my friend's myspace and i fell in love with it! not only that i had a couple friends send in cover art for the album contest. to top that off, im Polish, and that makes it means much more for me. thanks POLISH AMBASSADOR

i was turned on to The Polish Ambassador last fall (2007). i have had the most interesting experiences with the album playing and sounds of the city streaming simultaneously together while driving my car, all the while dancing and sharing the vibe with others on the road. safe? always! vibin? always! Infiltrating the UN is the song that stole my heart, and it is impossible not to start tapping a foot, or bobbing a head, or swinging around a nearby child. i can't imagine a life without The Polish Ambassador, and hope YOU choose life too! and buy this album!! i mean what i say about it being a staple for any electronic music lover's library! hasn't left my iPod in over a year! cheers Polish Ambassador!! keep it comin!!!

If your into the genre, This ambassador knows how to play. He seems to combine melodies, breaks, and bass together to make very stimulating music. Danceable yet listenable. Looking forward to future releases and hopefully some LP's.

I accidentally stumbled upon the Polish Ambassador's album several months ago and I was hooked. The sound and beats are nothing I have heard before and enjoy every second of the album.

I feel like the artist is explaining a story through the music, but we are left to interpret the meaning behind every beat. Or I could just be thinking too hard, either way I rate this album a 9/10.

the first time i heard this album, i completely fell in love with it. the polish ambassador knows exactly how to mix a retro-synthy sound with enough dark, deep, & techy sounds to make it completely edgy & groovy. i can't get enough! i can't wait to check out his new album. if you like electronic music, definitely give the ambassador a listen!

I discovered this artist off of Pandora.com, the song I heard was Earth Versus the World and immediately was intrigued by the sound. Ide say sample the tracks to get a good feel for this type of music. There are no words but awsome vibes that feel good. Loads of tracks, some of them short, but oddly enough, I feel the artist made these short tracks for a reason. If your into electronic or dance type of music, this genre is like its little brother but a little brother that you want around. When you get the album enjoy it.

The Polish Ambassador tackles innovative song structures and great electro-ideas with mixed results.

1) The mixing lacks good sound dynamics. I'm wondering where all the bass and beats fleeted off to. The sound is way too flat.

2) The instrumentation is way too limited. While the synth works well as TPA's main ballast, TPA should support that masterful synth with a liberal use of experimental and computer generated sounds à la Justice or Daft Punk. I'm not suggesting that TPA needs to be more like those two French groups--only that if he broadened his array of sound (as they do), he'd produce a better sound.

Anyway, he succeeds pretty well despite these shortcomings.

"The Birth of Yellow," "The Earth Versus the World," "Robot Motivation," "Infiltrating the UN," and "Crunching Numbers" are all favorites.
