My favorite Diptyque candle!
Saud Al-Thani
It's the perfect spring or summer scent (whereas Feu de Bois, which I also love, is great for fall or winter).
Pamela A Hill
It smells like a soy base and is definitely not worth 60 now.

This scent is absolutely beautiful. My favorite Diptyque candle! I highly recommend it! The fig scent is very fresh and leaves you relaxed, soothed, and appreciative towards everything we are blessed with. Enjoy!

I am genuinely surprised that there are any negative reviews of this candle. I just got one, and I find its scent beautiful: crisply green with a hint of sweetness. It's the perfect spring or summer scent (whereas Feu de Bois, which I also love, is great for fall or winter). Not overpowering, but definitely noticeable. Love it!

I'm a diptyque fan but don't care for Figuier and will be returning it unlit. (I realize the scent may morph when warm but I'd rather return it in usable condition so as not to waste it.)

To me it smells a lot like air freshener. I'm not one for green grassy scents in general because they do smell like air freshener to me, but not actually fresh or natural (for a "fresh" candle my choice would be Choisya), so this is an issue of individual taste. If you tend to like scents that describe themselves as leafy, grassy, or green you may like this. I smell a pretty, upscale artificial scent, with a sort of sappy milkiness, and something vaguely beachy. I do have a fig tree and I've picked/eaten figs from it and this doesn't smell to me at all like fresh figs or fig leaves. It does remind me of something at the Korean spa I go to, which definitely is not scenting itself with Diptyque; I think it might be the mugwort pool specifically that this reminds me of.

It is strongly scented so those who do like the scent should be happy.

I've been buying these candles for years. I love them! They are more expensive then your run of the mill candle but it's worth it!

The scent of this candle is great, but unfortunately, the wick was far too small for the candle!! It burned out not even an eighth of the way into the candle and now I can't light it anymore, making the great smell pretty much inaccessible without a candle warmer.
