A great introduction to Detroit's techno bass defunct Direct Beat label!, April 10, 2009
Every Aux 88 fan should have this CD in their collection. Most of the tracks, if not all, featured on this CD have a lot to do with Aux 88 in one way or another. Many of these tracks are extremely difficult to track down in their vinyl form so this is a great way to have all of them on one convenient disc. "My Aux Mind", "Shake It" and "Nightmares" are my personal favorites off this release. Hardcore Aux 88 fans will recognize the backing track of Trax's "Weekend" coming straight off Aux 88's "Is It Man or Machine" album. If you missed the whole electro funk movement in Detroit the first time around here's your chance to play catch-up! 3134ever!
