Product Description

For select Kenwood radios with a CD changer input, this cable provides a direct audio input from any iPod with a dock connector, and it also charges the iPod while connected. By using the dock connector for audio output, the highest musical sound quality is achieved- much better than any FM transmitter or headphone adapter can provide. The iPod's click wheel controls are used for song selection, play control, etc.

Compatible with iPod 3G, 4G, 5G, Mini, Nano, Photo & Video, but NOT compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch or iPod Classic models. Does NOT charge iPod models requiring USB (5Volt) charging.

NOTE: This cable is only compatible with Kenwood radios that have a menu that allows selecting the CD changer input for use as an auxiliary input (AUX mode) - consult your owner's manual for directions. The radio's manual must specify the AUX input option using a Kenwood KCA-S210A or CA-C1AX adapter.

I bought two (because you dont want to be without music in the boat) of these audio plugs for my I-pod to plug into my boat. They said they were NEW , when they arrived they werent even in a bag, or with a tag. They didnt appear to be NEW. To NO suprise neither of them worked. Its Too much trouble to try to return things so Im out nearly $50, and I had to buy NEW cords on E-bay (which worked great).
