This is a nice chair, but if you are looking for one that you can fold up and take with you (i.e, for makeup/hair artists, etc.), then this is not the chair for you. It is meant to be put up and kept up. Also, I found it very inconvienient that the canvas seat did not come with the chair. And canvas seats are not all the same; not every seat fits every chair. I bought one from a local retailer and it didn't fit. If you are looking for a barstool type chair and don't mind searching for the seat, then the price is good and the chair seems to be a quality item.

Great chair for the money. Sturdy enough to hold my "butt" in a comfy and stable manner. You need to install the foot pedestal each time for it increases the chairs strength and stabliness through its design, takes a minute to install. Make sure you know what you getting through the web pages for the height, frames color and seat/backing ( which you must buy seperately) can be confusing. We bought this chair for craft fairs for its height, so as to remain seated and still have eye level contact with people visiting. Just the ticket and even had the ability to color coordinate to out booth presentation etc.

This is your basic tall director's chair. We couldn't believe how hard it was to find these chairs! We needed two for a trade show booth. Amazon and the dealer came through. Good service! We needed these things fast and the vendor was able to confirm they had them in stock before we ordered. These were the best price on the net (in stock) that I could find and I did some extensive searching...

Also ordered the canvas seats and backs...all fit just fine, good quality...

This company made very sure to camoflague the wording that what you see is NOT what you get. Be sure YOU are aware there is NO canvas seating or back with this item. You are only getting frame! I argued that it's pictured with a canvas and that they needed to better describe the item and what it does/doesn't come with, but was only met with stubborness and double talk. They may have fixed the description by the time you read this, but I wasn't happy that I had to go shopping somewhere else to find the canvas in time to give it as a gift.

I bought 2 of these chairs, the first chair works great. The second chair shattered when I sat on it leaving jagged pieces of wood sticking up. I weigh about 200lbs & all I did was assemble the chair & sit on it.

The package came on time. I didnt have to assemble much. I wish it would come with different color options but either way the chair is working good! thank you!

This is a great chair, comfortable and strong. I work freelance as a makeup artist, so it's important for me to have a chair that's the right height and clients feel comfortable in. My only complaint is that the holes for the foot rest weren't aligned, which was easily fixed by making a new hole with a drill. The footrest does take an extra minute to install each time you set it up, but I've used chairs in the past where the foot rest is only attached on one side and rests on a peg on the other, and have had experiences where larger clients nearly took a spill when stepping up into the seat. (And cheeky teens who flipped it around aimlessly with their feet.) It's worth the thirty seconds it takes to set it up!

This was a Christmas gift. We set it up that day, it got sat in one time and it broke!
