I purchased two of these chairs. Although they appear to be well built and sturdy, they are very uncomfortable. They are not as wide as the metal versions and the seat is too tall. The backrest is too short. My wife is 5'2" and her feet can't rest flat on the ground when sitting in this chair.

THIS WAS BOUGHT THROUGH AMAZON.COM. SHIPPING WAS INCLUDED IN THE PURCHASE PRICE. I DID NOT LIKE WHAT I PURCHASED. I HAD QUESTIONED MANY THINGS FROM THE COMPANY BEFORE I PURCHASED THE CHAIR; HOWEVER, I WAS TALKING TO SOMEONE IN INDIA AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE A CLUE AND COULDN'T ANSWER MY QUESTIONS BUT SAID THERE WOULD BE NO PROBLEM RETURNING THE MERCHANDISE IF I WASN'T PLEASED. WHEN I CALLED THE COMPANY DIRECT, CAMPING GEAR OUTLET,TO RETURN THE CHAIR THEY HAD ME RETURN IT AND I PAID THE SHIPPING. THAT WAS FINE. THEN I GET AN EMAIL FROM CAMPING GEAR OUTLET STATING THEY HAD CREDITED ME WITH THE COST OF THE CHAIR ONLY AND NOT THE SHIPPING. I ENDED UP WITH A DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY AND SHE SAID THAT IS THEIR POLICY - I WOULD NOT RECEIVE THE FULL PURCHASE PRICE WHICH INCLUDED SHIPPING. I SAID TO HER, "BUT HAD I KEPT THE CHAIR YOU WOULD HAVE PAID THE ORIGINAL SHIPPING, AND I HAVE PAID SHIPPING TO RETURN THE ITEM TO YOU." BOTTOM LINE: AMAZON.COM REFUNDED MY SHIPPING. THEY ARE THE MOST PROFESSIONAL COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH AND I HAVE BEEN PURCHASING FROM AMAZON.COM FOR MANY YEARS.
WOULD I EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM CAMPING GEAR OUTLET? NEVER!!
