I understand this movie has been shortened from it's Cannes showing. Any one know when we will see the real film. Not the theater cut either.

I am curious about this as well. I heard the only major cut was more gore from the elevator scene.

I posted another thread. The Canadian version listed running time as 140 minutes. The US copy 100. I have just started the Canadian version and will post the difference, if there is one. The extra 40 minutes could include suppliments.

Reviews of the film at Cannes give the length as either 95 or 100 minutes. I love this movie, but I'm not sure I want to think about how they could have put much more gore into the elevator scene.

No idea about the director's cut, but the 140 minutes for the Canadian version is definitely a typo; it is actually 1:40, i.e. an hour and 40 minutes. I doubt there is any difference between that and the US release (which I have not seen), beyond maybe customizing it to include a Canadian team in the basketball game. :)

None that I am aware of. I would like to see a directors cut still.
