A compact ready-reference source which connects surnames with British titles (barons and above), and vice versa, up to the present. The Howard family, for instance, has been connected with more than thirty titles, while seven different families have held the earldom of Sussex.

This is a REPRINT of the 1984 book, so no peerages that have become extinct since then (and in at least one instance during 1984) are listed as such. The dates of extinction are ONLY by year, no month or day. It's useful to have in one's library, but I'd recommend looking for a used copy.
